After being cast out of her childhood home by her horrid stepmother and forced into a marriage by her uncaring father, Mina Hobart reluctantly begins the journey west on the Oregon Trail, hating every minute of each hot, dusty day. Then tragedy strikes and Mina is left a widow.
The west is no place for a young, newly single woman, and the job of keeping Mina safe—and keeping her in line—falls to Weston Carr, the rugged trail master. Weston quickly proves more than ready to tame the feisty redhead’s careless ways and sassy tongue, even if that means taking her over his knee for a good, hard, bare-bottom spanking.
Unfortunately, even as Mina does her best to learn to cook over a camp fire, make coffee properly, and do the laundry in a creek, jealousy and gossip among the other wives quickly build into significant strife in the wagon train. To quell the gathering storm, Weston is forced to take matters into his own hands and make Mina his bride, whether she likes it or not.
Despite Weston’s rough ways and firm-handed discipline, Mina soon finds pleasure in his arms far beyond anything she has experienced before. But when a series of mishaps befalls the wagon train—incidents in which Mina is the prime suspect—the new couple’s growing bond is badly strained. Can Mina prove she is not at fault before things come to a head, and if she does, will Weston be able to protect her from whichever of their traveling companions is up to no good?
Publisher’s Note The Trail Master’s Bride is an erotic romance novel that contains sexual scenes and spankings, including domestic discipline in a historical setting. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Truly great read! I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I loved Mina and Weston and the roles each played. Poor Mina needed a strong man to stand by her side and take care of her after the way her father and step-mother treated her and her first husband. She also needed his strong handed guidance. Loved her fiery temper and take no crap attitude. I think in the end they both discovered that patience and trust are very important virtues to make a marriage successful. Lot of adventure and mishaps on the Oregon Trail.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a good romance with some, not a lot, domestic discipline involved. Taylor is an excellent author and the only bad part is you don't want the book to end.
Hope this review is helpful.

The Trail Master Bride edition by Maddie Taylor Romance eBooks Reviews
Great story. It described some of the problems our ancestors faced in crossing the country. This was a very well-written love story. Will look for more from this author.
It is rare that I leave a rating. I have to say thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the characters in it though I wished it had not been so easy to figure out who the villain was. I intend to read more by this author. Thank you for a well written book!
I loved this book. It was amazing and had me begging for more. I hope there's more to come about their new life and home and more shenanigans of Mina!!! Lol Thank you so much for sharing.
For he most I liked the story. I like the author. Most generally I buy what she writes in the way of historical erotic romance. I like her DD stories.
I liked Weston in this story. I liked Ben. Mina mostly she was a necessary evil. With her spoiled bratty behavior it's no wonder her father and step mother wanted her gone.
What amazes me is they double-standard so many authors have. In this story for example Mina threw things at Wes and called him names. Which seemed perfectly fine. Yet had he resorted to similar behavior he would have been considered abusive.
That was primarily why I didn't like her. She was an abusive shrew really who boo-hoo-hoo'd on cue. What's the opposite of a bully? A martyr.
It was worth the read but not really the price. We're I to do it over I would have read it on KU.
I love old western stories! Mina and Wes are awesome characters I loved reading about them. I felt sorry for Mina for the way her husband criticized everything she did. She was better off when the sickness took him. Lovely story!
Great Story, glad Mina found true love in the end after 1st husband dies & then when things go wrong the rest of the train had nerve to blame her , then they kiss up to her after it was proven it wasn't her.
I really enjoyed this story of the old west on the Oregon Trail. Wes and Mina were both very likeable characters and I loved the way they interacted with each other. Wes was the hot, sexy Wagon Master with a ready smile or a firm hand as needed! Loved it!!!
